Just when I find something I like, it isn't around anymore. First got these at Grocery Outlet, 6 for .99, then they didn't have them anymore. Then got them from Walmart, at $3.98, but with the dollar coupon I kept getting off the back of the boxes, well, you know what the end price was. Now nobody has them, so I guess they were discontinued. I was wondering why when I was buying them even after June 30, 2011, that the coupons still said that date. Now I know why..they aren't to be! Boohoo. *sniff, sniff*

We would send you some, but frozen products and the US Postal Service are a tricky match! If you're in the Seattle area by chance, that's where we got ours.

If you like to experiment, you could always attempt making your own using a corn dog recipe (we love Alton Brown), but substituting pork or turkey sausage and pancake batter.

Maybe for a future post, we'll test making a homemade batch and post the (mostly likely) disastrous results.

They are quite convenient for a quick snack - no plate needed. I don't think I could have them for more than a couple days for breakfast though; I just can't get over eating a corndog-style food breakfast on more than a couple occasions. Personally, I'll take good ol' fashioned bacon and eggs any day.

My kids love these. They aren't the best breakfast food in the world, but they aren't the worst either (I'm looking at you, toaster strudel). Sometimes they are sold out at our grocery store, but most weeks I can pick up a box. I have three little ones, so one box is good for two breakfasts.
